As reported by DefenseDaily.com on November 2, 2021, JAG Alaska Inc. “has been awarded a $10,780,448 firm-fixed-price contract (N3220522C4171) for a 60-calendar day shipyard availability for the regular overhaul and dry-docking of the Military Sealift Command’s rescue and salvage ship USNS Grasp (T-ARS 51).”
The project is scheduled for 60 days beginning January 6, 2022, running through March 6, 2022. JAG Alaska is registered with the GSA as a Small Business Set Aside Vendor which allowed the shipyard to compete for this contract.
